Within the subconscious mind resides our imagination, emotions, memories, our automatic body responses, habit patterns, and our most deeply held beliefs about ourselves and what we believe is possible for us.

It is these deeply held patterns and beliefs that drive our decisions and shape our lives and the quality of our perceptions.

When we desire to make a lasting, positive change in our lives, it is these subconscious patterns that we must change.

Hypnotherapy is a safe, proven, and effective tool for directly accessing the power of the subconscious mind.

As with the majority of the healing arts and sciences, the practice of hypnotherapy has evolved over the course of its lengthy history.

Modern hypnotherapy is a collaborative effort wherein the client and hypnotherapist interact and work together, via the pleasant and naturally occurring phenomena we have labeled “trance”; the same state that everyone experiences while awakening from a good night’s sleep, to bring about the positive changes that the client has identified as desirable, and to achieve lasting improvement in the quality of the client’s life.

Donna’s philosophy about her work with people:

“My life is a mysterious and sacred journey.  I know that each person I met is also on their own specific, intimate and sacred path.  It is my intent to be fully present with each person, assisting them in finding their own distinctive way to the positive changes that they want to make in their lives, and to aid them in developing the skills to continue the journey on their own.”

Donna is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Board Certified Biofeedback Therapist, and is a member of the Biofeedback Society.  Donna holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Walnut Creek, California.

She began her career of service in 1972 with an internship in the Menrtal Health Marin General Hospital...

The accumulated toll of all that she has witnessed inspired Donna to create a power nap program for the Firefighters at Ground Zero in NYC after 9/11. This crisis unit inspired Donna to seek a more proactive approach to health, healing and wellness.  This led her into a deep, personal exploration of the psyche, spirituality, and the nature of personal transformation; a journey that is still unfolding.  From coast to coast, and internationally, Donna has facilitated a series of transformation workshops and retreats, which arose from this exploration.

It is hypnotherapy’s unique compatibility with both psychological and spiritual approaches to change that has led Donna to choose hypnotherapy as her primary modality for working with individuals to promote positive change.
